Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Lyra (writelyra.com), operated by Comma PR, MB ("we", "us"). By signing up, you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

Lyra is an online tool that learns your writing voice from samples you provide and helps you draft new texts in that voice. The service is provided "as is" during the Early Access phase.

2. Subscription

  • Pricing: $9 per month for Early Access (first 50 customers); after that, the standard price applies. Early Access subscribers keep their original price as long as their subscription stays active.
  • Billing: monthly, auto-renewing, charged via Stripe.
  • Generations limit: 50 per calendar month included; if you exceed this, generation is paused until the next billing cycle.
  • Cancel anytime, in one click, from Settings → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; no partial refunds for unused time.
  • Refunds: if Lyra clearly doesn't work as described in your first month, email us within 30 days of your first payment for a refund.

3. What you can do

  • Use Lyra to generate texts for your own work — personal, professional, or commercial.
  • Own all the outputs Lyra generates for you. We claim no rights over them.
  • Cancel, export your data, or delete your account whenever you want.

4. What you can't do

  • Use Lyra to impersonate other people without their consent (e.g., uploading someone else's writing as samples to write in their voice).
  • Use Lyra to generate content that's illegal, defamatory, or that violates third-party rights.
  • Resell or redistribute Lyra's access to others (one account, one user).
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our system prompts, model behavior, or other proprietary aspects of the Service.
  • Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or other technical controls.

5. Your content

  • The writing samples you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you.
  • Generated outputs are yours.

6. Limitations

Lyra is software that uses third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude). Generated texts may sometimes be inaccurate, awkward, or off-voice. We don't guarantee perfection. Always review what Lyra writes before using it publicly.

7. We're not liable for

  • Indirect damages, lost profits, lost reputation, or consequential losses.
  • Outputs that you publish without review.
  • Downtime caused by our subprocessors (Anthropic, Stripe, Supabase, Lovable).
  • Maximum total liability: the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

Lithuanian law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Vilnius, unless EU consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
